There is a rice cooker in the kitchen.
Here is an instruction on how to make use of rice cooker.
1. Use a measuring cup with gauge. The point where the level says 1合 means 1 cup.
1 cup would be good enough for 1 portion.
2. Place rice into the bown of the machine and rinse the rice. After rinsing some water remains in the bowl. Add some more water to bring the water level to 1 for 1 cup and 2 for the portion of 2 cups.
3. Press 炊飯= cook rice. After pressing tghis button, the red lamp will turn on. Once this much is set, just wait for about 30 min. Everything will be done4 automatically.
4. After everything is done. Press ( 切 = off ) to switch off the machine. If you keep the machine running to retain heat for too long, rice will end up drying.
