 How to get to JR. Saga Arashiyama station from Kyoto station.

 Take either the rapid or the local JR San-in Line train bound for Kameoka and get off at SAGA-ARASHIYAMA station. It is 16 minutes away from JR Kyoto Station by local train. The trains leave approximately every 10 minutes. You can use your Japan Rail Pass for this trip. JR SAGA-ARASHIYAMA station is the 6th station from Kyoto station.  Web-link

     ** From JR. Saga Arashiyama station to TGM Home                                

Location is just around the corner of the intersection of Marutamachi street and Kiyotaki-michi street/ ( From JR Saga Arashiyama station.  Simply come out of the exit 2 ( norths ide )  of JR. Saga Arashiyama Station and walk to the traffic light ( to the north on Marutamachi street ). Turn left and head toward west until the pedestrian bridge with traffic light. ( see the photo below ). It only takes 5 to 7 minutes on foot.

  From the central part of Kyoto city : Go west along Marutamachi street until you come to this pedestrian bridge. Turn this intersection right to Kiyotaki ( to the north ).

 On Kiyotaki-michi street :  As soon as you took the tuirn the cafe Bee-be is right there on your right. The house is located right behind the cafe. Follow the arrow into a small path. It's the second house on your right.

From the north gate of the station just 1 block to the north ( Marutamachi st ) and 3 blocks to west. ( On Kiyotaki michi street engo to he right.

Coming home from Kiyotaki Street ( Kiyotakimichi from north )

 If you are arriving from Hankyu Arashiyama Station ( Hamkyu Line ).

 If you are taking direct route from Osaka by Hankyu line. Ok, it seems Kyoto Bus no. 62, 64, 72, 74 to Saga Shogakko-mae are the ones you can take.  Bus Navigation PDF

 It is very convenient to take Hankyu Line from this station in case you are visiting Osaka. You only need to exchange the line once at Katsura Station. It only takes less than 1 hour and cost only 400 yen to get to Umeda Station of Osaka.

 The best way to get to this location is taking Airport Limosine Bus departs from Kansai Airport and get off at Kyoto Station and exchange to JR Line to Saga Arashiyama Station. It takes 2 to 3 hours depends on what time of the day you travel. This must be the most economical choice.
