** Convenient access from home
In this page we are introducing convenient access to some sightseeing spots in the city.
The nearest Bus Stop is Saga Setogawa-cho. It is just around the corner of Marutamachi just 1 min walk from home.
1. To Fushimi Inari : Take JR Line from Saga Arashiyama to Kyoto Station. Exchange to Nara Line. It is the 3rd station ( Inari Station ). Since Fushimi Inari is in far away location, we recommend you to visit on your way back to Kyoto Station. You can leave your luggage in rental locker at Kyoto Station and come back again.
2. To Kiyomizu Temple : Take city bus 93 to Kumano Jinja-mae. Exchange to 206 to Kiyomizu-michi.
3. To Kinkakuji Temple : Take eaither city bus 91 or 93 to Nishinokyo Enmachi. Exchange to either 205 or 204 to Kinakakuji-michi. You can go along Road of Kinukake to visit 2 other World Heritage sites ( Ryoanji, Ninnaji Temple ) by city bus 12. Daitokuji Temple is also within walking distance from Kinkakuji Temple located in north-east.
4. Nijo Castle : Simply take bus 93 to Horikawa Marutamachi.

5. Nanzenji Temple : Simply take bus 93 to Higashi Tenno-cho.
6. Gion District : Take city bus 91 or 11 and get off at Shijo Karasuma. You can also visit Nishiki Food Market and Ponto-cho on your way before reaching Gion.

7. Heian Shrine : Take bus 93 to Marutamachi Keihan-mae.
8. To path of Philosophy : Take bus 93 to Higashi Tenno-cho. It is located in the north of Nanzenji Temple.
In case you want to get 1 day bus pass ( unlimited ). They are available at Subway Shijo Karasuma station. You can get there by bus 91.
City Bus All-day Pass
Adult: Y500/Child: Y250
Can be used within the allocated zone of the city (Arashiyama, Sagano, Takao, Shugakuin etc. are outside of the allocated zone)
Unlimited use on the same day.
When traveling outside of the allocated zone, it is necessary to pay the extra amount.
