Massy was as excellent host and even introduced us to his friends and showed us around a few of his favourite places. The house was perfect for us and is located in a really gorgeous part of Kyoto. He had bikes that we could use and the house was really well set up. He even brought round extra blankets when it turned a little colder. We couldn't have asked for a better deal or host. Felt like a home. Thanks Massy

ที่พักที่นี่ เจ้าของน่ารักอีกแล้ว ให้ข้อมูลการเที่ยวเยอะมาก แถมยัง ซื้อของฝากมาให้เรา 2 คน ด้วย เอาวางไว้ที่เป๋าของเรา แล้วมีจม.น้อยเขียนไว้ เสียดายที่ไม่ได้เจอก่อนกลับ แต่คราวหน้าถ้าได้มาอีก ก็จะมาพักที่นี่ ใกล้สถานี มีจักรยานให้ยืมฟรี และที่สำคัญ ราคาที่พักถูกมาก^^

Lovely place here. The owner of the info again to hang out a lot. Plus, I bought me something for the 2 of us. Take it and put it on our daddy's and got a letter. A little writing. It's a shame I haven't seen before leaving, but next time I will come again. Staying close to the station to borrow a bike for free and more importantly the price has been resting. ^^

Great English speaking friendly host. Massy is a Kyoto local. This house is as clean as one can ask. Kitchen, bathroom, laundry are fully equipped. Computer in the living room; free wifi. May provide bicycles too. Good size rooms, quiet, private, close to some beautiful scenic spots; large and small shrines; bamboo forest; traditional village; river; mountain train; river boats. The house is on a quiet back street only 30 meters from the main street. On the street there are lots of coffee shops, restaurants, convenient stores, supermarkets., etc. One can take a bus from the main street to connect to almost anywhere in Kyoto by connection bus or subway. Recommended to stay a bit longer at this fine house. Walking distance from the JR Arashiyama station. From Hankyu Arashiyama station 750 yen by Taxi, if I remember correclty.

Massy is enthusiastic in giving advice on spectacular places before our arrival and during our stay at Kyoto. We cooked together for a tofu hot pot on our arrival. The house is a cozy place good for 4 people. The location is convenient for a number of the sight seeing places, such as 渡月橋,Arishiyama. Rail stations and bus stops for going down town Kyoto are within walking distance. There are also 24-hour stores and supermarket within 2 to 10 minute walk. Staying at Massy's place was a perfect little Kyoto apartment. It has traditional Japanese sliding doors and windows and an awesome painted set of dresser drawers. There is a closet space to hang clothes and also a large dining area. There is a patio as well if you need to smoke. The heater works very well for winter and steams up the entire room, a door can be closed to separate the bathroom spaces as well. The bathroom has a tradition Japanese short deep tub and shower space, and the toliet is the high tech type. The bed, although I didn't notice, might be a couch of some kind, was extremely comfy and the comforters and bedding were very warm and cozy. There was tea and coffee for use as well as kitchen essentials. Massy is a SUPERHOST! He will help you plan out all the things you must do in Kyoto and give you great advice. He spent at least 45min showing me the map of town, giving me tips, and recommendaitons. Sadly, I dind't get to do half of them, but more time in Kyoto next trip is a must. There are house slippers as the floors can get a little cold. The apartment is on the first floor and it has a keyed entry to the building. It's about 5 minute walk from the nearest Subway station (note: is has no elevator,/escaltor, but cabs are much cheaper in Kyoto than Tokyo because the space is smaller, so if you land in Kyoto station, I think a cab to and from with heavy bags is worth it) Massy help meet me at my station and helped with my bags to check in. He and his wife, are very kind. Mostly, I must say and extra big thanks for helping me out as I became ill on this leg of my trip and Massy was able to help me stay comfy to try and get well. I didn't get to go to Osaka at all, as I had to stay in bed that day, but traveled back to Tokyo the next day still a little sick. Overall, Massy is one of the best hosts I've ever had. Great Communication as well! Wonderful Stay, Great Place. Easy bus trip to downtown Kyoto

Thank Masayuki and his wife Maria ... they were all very friendly and very attentive. We arrived day night they on carefully for we introduced Kyoto the attractions, help we developed trip route, to has many good idea, also sent map and traffic route figure, very useful! House has two layer, upstairs two bedroom, for sleep, downstairs has small living room, kitchen, table, shower room, toilet, anyway is Sparrow, but fully, what are has, very convenient. Last night we also buy food and cooked them food to eat, Masayuki boiled sweet wine we tasted, good sweet! daughter good likes, she says to stay here next time. Just, we had snow in Kyoto, it was lucky that thanks for the journey to add a lot of color! thank Masayuki and his wife, thanks to this beautiful quiet meaning city of Kyoto!
